The burning question that we've all been wanting to know...

What's the 11th best track on Genesis' seminal concept double album?
when i was a kid a doller was worth ten dollers - now a doller couldnt even buy you fifty cents

I think you're overestimating the sanity of us proggers... Alright let me work this out now

Roughly Top Five:
The Waiting Room
Fly on a Windshield
Here Comes the Supernatural Anesthetist
In The Cage
Carpet Crawlers

Roughly 6-10:
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
The Light Lies Down on Broadway
It
The Grand Parade of Lifeless Packaging
Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats

Options for #11:
Hairless Heart
Broadway Melody of 1974
Counting Out Time

Final Choice: Hairless Heart

Most of the rest of the album is so forgettable that I couldn't rank the tracks even if I had just listened to them.

If anyone's curious, Back in NYC is easily the worst track.

Not sure what the h*ll this poll is asking me, but I went with Counting out Time for the h*ll of it...
He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Guess I'll go for Counting Out Time. FWIW, I think Back in NYC is an awesome track! Love Fly on a Windshield as well! Just wish it was longer.

From Counting Out Time:

"Touch and go with 1-6.
Bit of trouble in zone No. 7.
Gotta remember all of my tricks.
There's heaven ahead in No. 11!"

I chose The Waiting Room, and my ranking went something like this:

Hairless Heart
The Lamia
In the Cage
Carpet Crawlers
Fly on a Windshield
Supernatural Anaesthetist
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Broadway Melody
Cuckoo Cocoon
Light Dies Down on Broadway
The Waiting Room

Let's see...the album is a masterpiece, so this is hard =S

1)The Colony of Slippermen
2)In The Cage
3)The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
4)The Lamia
5)Back in NYC
6)Anyway
7)Broadway Melody of 1974
8)The Chamber
9)The Light Dies Down
10)Fly On A Windshield

Lilywhite Lilith it is.
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

"vote your favorite 5th track off of a Charisma Records released Genesis album." Who's going to make that one eh?

These Genesis topics are getting out of hand.

Ermm I link "11th" rather to Wind and Wuthering, though it has only 9 tracks, than to The Lamb somehow.

Nevertheless these are my 11 favourites:

 1. Riding the Scree
 2. In the Cage
 3. Colony of Slippermen
 4. Fly on a Windshield
 5. Back in N.Y.C.
 6. Lillywhite Lilith
 7. The Chamber of 32 Doors
 8. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
 9. The Carpet Crawlers
10. The Supernatural Anaesthetist
11. In the Rapids

I always see albums like the Lamb as a unit, not a bunch of songs, so I cannot really choose my favorite one.

Counting Out Time. Actually heard it once on AM radio.

Hell.....I haven't played that in so long that the only tracks I  recall well are Lamb Lies Down and Carpet Crawlers.....and I like those two.....so no vote I guess.

Maybe It.
