Upon listening i find this album by rush a most pleasant surprise ,you see after hemispheres ,i had completely stopped listening to the trio that hail from my province of ONTARIO,i was turned off by the single from the record THE SPIRIT OF RADIO i felt too commercial and was dreading anything else from the album ,i find it has more metal edge to songs and clearly a more personal lyrical affair, the gems i unearthed were   FREEWILL ,ENTRE NOUS,DIFFERENT STRINGS and crowning progressive JACOB,S LADDER any thoughts a much harder rock than say MOVING PICTURES any thoughts ? Clap

Any thoughts?   Uh, yeah: probably their finest record.

Ironically, 'The Spirit of Radio' is about commercialism.

But why would it be a lost album? I think anyone interested in getting their albums will know this is one of their albums.

I don't know what you mean by "lost", it's pretty popular. Anyways, I love it, it's recently grown on me and become one of my favorite Rush albums. Natural Science is one of the band's best epics, and Different Strings is criminally underrated.

Yep - equal best album with Moving Pictures. I don't understand why it's 'lost'......

It's my favourite Rush album along with Farewell to Kings, much better than Moving Pictures imo.

It's not. If anything, Caress of Steel might be more fitting of the title of lost Rush album, and even then certainly not to the faithful.
