Hello! Guitar player from Antier here to suggest our band for addition to PA :)

Small bio

Antier is a Post-Rock / Progressive Rock duo from Barcelona. This duo emerged from the ashes of another band in which Santiago Arderiu played drums and Victor Gil played guitar (ILVCIA http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=8668 ). They decided to start their own path as a duo and Santiago started taking an important role by also delivering the vocals for the project. After two years of work they self-released their debut album in 2016.

The music is half instrumental, the vocals are added in the form of spoken word to add intensity to the emotions described throughout the record. It has been compared to the instensity of Godspeed You! Black Emperor with a more theatrical approach to vocals.

Tracklist
1. Nada Está Escrito (3:33)
2. Al Arder Bajo El Cielo (7:37)
3. Más Allá De La Miseria (4:43)
4. De La Quimera, El Dolor (5:07)
5. Sin Dejar De Respirar (7:30)
6. En Un Último Suspiro (3:00)
7. Del Hambre, La Desidia (6:13)
8. Al Final Todo Fue (6:12)

Line-up

Santiago Arderiu (drums, vocals)
Victor Gil (guitar)

If someone thinks another genre would fit us best, please speak out! But I think in our case it is quite clear.

^ It seems from what has been written elsewhere that the Post-Rock Team is currently not able to add new bands as three team members need to make a positive vote but there are only two members active at the moment. So I wouldn't hold your breath.

The Post/Math Rock team uses a chart at progfreak.com to track progress of bands being evaluated: http://progfreak.com/Antier-167962.html?path=pa/recent

It has one vote already, and it is positive. I think that there are only three active team members currently, so then one more "yes" vote should clear it (as a majority decision).

I have seen that now there are two positive votes on the system. Should that be enough for us to get in then?

Over a year since we released this album but still eager to get into PA! Big smile

Because of techical reasons I still can't vote on progfreak, but I've "announced" my YES vote, so now there are three.
