Though both are great, Steve Hackett gets my vote.

Hackett---the other song is more like a bad Brian Wilson acid trip.

Apart from the missing voice, Hackett's piece sounds about as Mr. Bunglish as Hackett could be (and Mr. Bungle don't sound quite as Bunglish here as I know them). So by voting Hackett I somehow vote for them both.

I hadn't heard that live version of Hackett's before - which puts it out of sight of Mr. Bungle. Came from the awful 'Cured' album, mind you

Overall, I don't care for Cured, but TAN is classic Hackett.

Man. Love that Bungle song so I had to vote that, but I had never heard this Steve Hackett song. It's pretty great!

I didn't know Hackett 1981. Much better than Genesis at the same time and later.
