Presidents/CEOs are that because they have worked to that position in the business world, that's why companies hire away CEOs from other companies all the time.

These are the type of non-factoids we have become used to under the new era of Breitbartism. Most of what you are saying here has no basis on fact and require logical leaps.
1, A quick search will find plenty of data refuting the one employer statement. Maybe in 1955, but not for some time now has the single employer career been the norm. 2. Most people do not have a huge amount have daddy capital to start their own companies. Nor the confidence that daddy will bail them when they fail. To my knowledge, Tweety has only CEO'd his own companies, so the "hired away from other companies" upshot doesn't work. 3. Most ex-presidents don't apply for CEO jobs. As a matter of fact, tend to be retirement age or older, and sometimes even dead before leaving office. "Not qualified" is a baseless assertion.

Ah, you're so right. This song is 1998 but Alla Pugachova was the biggest pop star of the Soviet Union and was their equivalent to the Beatles. Most of her biggest hits came before the collapse. Silly me, i should've posted something that came before like this, her biggest 70s hit:

^ I've heard the second one. I actually have a 15 CD boxed set of her stuff and i am simply amazed that i love almost everything on it. Yeah, a few duds but more gems than not. Yeah, maybe she was like Madonna in personna but her music was much more sophisticated pop than anything Madonna has put out and therefore i would gladly place her music more in comparison with The Beatles myself.
Sorry to distract from the theme of the thread. Perhaps another thread could be started simply about Soviet era music. I have a little bit of it including Vladimir Vysotsky, Nol, Zhanna Bichevskaya, Mashina Vremeni and Akvarium. Great stuff!
