John Wetton for me by a long shot. Lake is amazing, but I prefer his later works to his time in KC.
Its simple, its genius, and most importantly, its Tangerine Dream.

Equally, but differently.

Epitaph is all I need to choose. Actually, I rather dislike Wetton as a singer, specially with King Crimson and UK... though with Asia he was OK (in the studio, live he would just destroy the songs). Strangely enough, when Wetton has sung Lake's songs, he would really sound wonderful (though not as much as Lake himself... well, though I did like him singing Schizoid Man better than Lake).

Lol, I have to say the same. They each brought something new to the table with their pipes and did it well.

Haskell was okay, but, even without his grievances with Crimson's material, I can't see him doing the stuff outside of Lizard. As for Boz, he was more or less a clone of Lake, albeit a nice one.
He looks at this world and wants it all... so he strikes, like Thunderball!

Lake was phenomenal, especially on Epitaph; haunting stuff, but I figured I'd vote for my favourite underdog here, Boz. His voice was exactly what Islands called for and he delivered it masterfully.

Wetton and Haskell I both enjoy as well, though to lesser extents.

Lake, closely followed by Belew. I was never a huge fan of Wettons voice although that was probably KC's best period musically..
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Boz Burrell. "Letters" alone would earn him this vote.

Lake, with Wetton a very close second.

The vocals are usually pretty good. It's the music I don't like.

Boz Burrell, his stunning voice is one of the key components to my favorite King Crimson album - Islands.

Jakko Jakszyk, without a doubt.
I've been listening to KC's latest live albums, and I'm amazed how well he manages to cover all of the back catalogue. Not only does he manage to convey the spirit of the singers of those incarnations featured, but how he, at the same time, manages to make the songs his own is absolutely amazing. An astonishing feat.
I used to have a shadow. Now I'm sad.

More product from Wetton for the band, and I love USA. Get well soon, John.
