The "official" backstory of Faxed Head was that they were a group of disaffected teens from Coalinga, CA who made a suicide pact and all survived their attempts in improbable ways, so they decided to form a band and write songs that were about their daily lives.  (The reality is much less interesting - it was a pseudonymous, costumed side project of Mr. Bungle/Secret Chiefs 3 guitarist Trey Spruance.  The singer was Gregg Turkington, who has since gone on to notoriety as the intentionally bad comedian Neil Hamburger.)

I thought that was Marc Almond. Or was that another story?

^I believe it has been attributed to many over the years. Including Bowie and Jagger simultaneously. But Stewart's story was actually traced back to a disgruntled former employee according to snopes.

To continue the artist's bizarre behavior tack, Keith Richards snorting his dead father's ashes has to be the strangest! LOL

Yep, I heard that too. But stories need not be real to be strange. Just like Keef's blood transfusions.

Lower on the bizarre story antics, but I have to mention Rick Wakeman eating chicken on stage while playing TFTO.  (I suspect that isn't his most bizarre story though.  King Arthur on Ice anyone?)

Well, ol' Rick could always play with one hand tied behind his back. Or clutching a fried chicken leg. LOL

I think it was probably a chicken curry. On the British leg of the tour, anyway.
