Now most of us can agree that Pink Floyd was one of the best, if not the best, band that ever existed - in both progressive rock and in general.

The albums are listed in chronological order, so this shouldn't be too hard. :-)

And my preference is... Animals!

Animals for me as well
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I was told by a friend not to put in that option. WinkCry

But yeah, David Gilmour was probably the best in the band, and probably my favorite musician of all time. Have you heard his solo work, and his work with The Orb? It's like nothing else...

Gilmour's first self-titled album and About Face are splendid!

The Wall for me. Not only my favorite PF album, but my favorite album in general. Meddle is a close 2nd.

Glad to see that somebody thinks like I do! I would listen to Gilmour as a profession if I could. :D

Ummugumma, Atom Heart Mother then Animals, but I don't like the later albums at all

Classical music isn't dead, it's more alive than it's ever been. It's just not on MTV.

1975 was a big year for me musically. 15 years old, and I remember listening to WYWH, Physical Grafitti and Minstrel in the Gallery over and over. Throw in Blood on the Tracks, Hair of the Dog, A Night at the Opera, Tonight's the Night, Sabotage and Blow by Blow, and it was a damn good year to be a teenager.

It was a tossup between Atom Heart Mother and Animals for me, but I figured that the former would get more overshadowed by the mid 70's material, so I decided to give it a vote.

Wish you were here, for me, though almost tied with Animals, and Division Bell being a close third. Still, I love most of what they did.

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Ummagumma is my favorite Pink Floyd album, closely followed by Piper.

1 Obscured by Clouds
2 Meddle
3 Animals
4 DSOM
5 WYWH

I don't like the Barrett era at all and the Waters era is dull. Gilmour and Wright were the heart of Floyd for me.
