A continuation on my other Genesis poll.

Again, all Gabriel-era Genesis.

My vote goes to Supper's Ready. :)

Why nothing after Selling England on here? I would have liked to have seen "dance on a  volcano" or "Afterglow" on here.

It's all Gabriel-era Genesis. I don't mind the other era, but I thought this would be a fun poll of the prog fan favorites.

All of these are great songs, but as far as I'm concerned, The Musical Box is and always will be the single greatest track that Genesis ever accomplished.

Oh man, this would be exactly my choice for my very favourite Genesis songs playlist, specially if I'm thinking only of Classic Line-up songs, which is my favourite era (only, for me "The Knife", "Musical Box", "Dancing with the Moonlit Knight" and "Cinema Show" must go in their live versions). Perhaps I would include "In the Cage" just to have something from The Lamb, since I think that's the only song that goes well from that album with this list of songs (but even In The Cage is a step below this ones for me). And, I really can't choose, I just love them all... some time ago, I would have gone with "Firth of Fifth" without thinking it, but now I just don't know.

It's that trio from 'Selling England...' that I find the hardest to differentiate

Supper's Ready > The Musical Box > Firth of Fifth
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Supper's Ready - The Musical Box - Firth Of Fifth  - Dancing With The Monlit Knight -- these are equally great and I love them all. Usually I'd pick FoF but today I've voted for TMB. Maybe tomorrow it'd be Supper's Ready. This one is really tough...

Everyone knows the "Suppers Ready" is one of the greatest epics ever. Right up there with "Close To The Edge", "Echoes", "Karn Evil 9" and "Thick As A Brick."

It really gets no better.
