UK. Danger Money is in my top 10 and features three of my favourite songs he was involved in.
From this list I pick Mogul Thrash. Nice bass playing.

I liked UK better than King Crimson. And I liked Payne-era Asia better than Wetton-era Asia
I did enjoy Wetton/Manzanera and the first Wetton-solo album from 1980 (Caught in the Crossfire?)
He only recorded 1!! (mediocre) album with the Ash and two albums with Heep, of wich Return to Fantasy was rather great. But I have no idea what Wetton's input was. Hensley was always the great songwriter.
I don't know Family that well (have listened to albums without Wetton) and I have no idea what Mogul Trash is like.
I voted for Heep, because of Return to Fantasy.

Wetton co-wrote a couple of songs on 'Heep's High and Mighty and sang the lion's share of the album's opener One Way or Another.

I know. Worst Heep album ever. Only Weep in Silence and Footprints in the Snow are fine. (Apparently the two sings Wetton co-wrote... go figure) One Way Or Another I find dreadfull. Terrible singing aswell. But Hensley wasnt such a great singer and Wetton was a baritone, not realky suitable for that type of hardrock.

Hi,
In FAMILY, it was a bit too sketchy and weird and it was, in many ways, much more "progressive" than what FAMILY became (a serious power rock/blues band) even as STREETWALKERS, a bit later.
In ROXY MUSIC, I thought he was more of a fill in than he was actually a member of the band, since by that time ROXY MUSIC was already on the decline, and not exactly at the top as they had been earlier. I am not sure that JW's work is as clear and visible in there as it would have been in FAMILY, for example. And I think that his role in URIAH HEEP and WISHBONE ASH was more as a capable fill in and addon, than it was as a creative force on its own right.
