I was born a year after Big Generator came out, so yeah.

I've bought every Yes record to date...but the only ones on release day have been stuff from 2008 on.

I almost stopped after "Open Your Eyes".  That was the only album I found every bit as useless as 80s Genesis.

Yet they got better.  The "Keys To Ascension" studio tracks are not bad, "The Ladder" and "Magnification" have some very good moments.  Even the last two have some value.

However, I can not bring myself to attend any concerts by the current lineup.  Squire's passing cemented that.  If they bring back Jon Anderson, I might consider it.

Yes albums always turned up interesting listening. Until Heaven And Earth. What a waste of a good title.

Admittedly some rough moments. Yesshows. Confused album of good songs, Tormato (Except that kiddie bit in Circus). Took a while for Drama to have effect. ABWH seemed a bit insipid (sounds like Sabbath compared to Heave and Earth though) but the live release was fine. Fly From Here was a surprise, Benoit David was original and rather good. Shame he could not hack the pace -- even more respect for JA. Still some fine live albums and DVDs.

Tormato Angry. I just played it once and disliked it so much I did not buy anything from them for the next 15 years...

I continued to buy them all, but the only real disillusion was Heaven and Earth.

I have found Big Generator very poor, but Union was released after ABW&H which I liked, so I went for Union and despite what Rick Wakeman things, I have liked it too.

Refuse to buy Big Generator (if I see it used for cheap, maybe). Odd album with an even odder title. Not crazy about what's his name on guitar.

I would say it was after Drama. I did not enjoy the Trebor Rabin era very much, but when the classic line-up returned, I was into them again. I would wait a while if they release another album though, maybe until I hear it or get a go from a reliable source.
