Topic: Jethro Tull or Yes Posted: February 25 2017 at 18:47 |
Seeing how JT pretty much stomped on Rush in the other poll I'm wondering how JT would do against Yes. This should be interesting. Please only vote if you know of at least a few albums by each band and feel you can make a sound decision.

Jethro Tull. I love Yes very much though, and they probably would get my vote against anyone, except King Crimson and Jethro Tull.

Yes is my second favourite band, so I go with them.

Equally.
My top 11 would be Camel, IQ, Big Big Train, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Marillion, Rush, Floyd, Haken, Mostly Autumn, Riverside, with both these bands next.

When one or the other appears in a poll I vote for that one as often as not. When individual songs are offered, I can usually vote for one as opposed to the other. But when they are offered as the two options, I can only take the middle way and say I like them equally despite they being very different bands with very different sounds.
