Anakdota are from Israel and seem to be in the jazz rock/fusion mode. Other possible categories could be RIO/avant or eclectic prog but most of what I heard seems to fall squarely in the fusion category(but with vocals).

Listened a bit of their only album here: http://altrockproductions.bandcamp.com/album/overloading

I'm not sure about it, I think I'll notify Eclectic to check them first, just going by the overall Gentle Giant vibe they're giving me.

Well, it's up to you guys. A lot of RIO/Avant stuff is jazzy. Eclectic came to mind also. I'll accept whatever subgenre the moderators decide.

Yeah, have to agree JRF wouldn't be ideal.

I'd say crossover or eclectic.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

From the bandcamp samples, I think I'd mostly align my thoughts this way, too.

Here's a link to the band's full album:

Edit: I think that they definitely have strong potential in eclectic, so I've brought them to the team thread.
