Two albums that for some reason have always seemed linked for me. Both journeys into another time/place.

I listen more often to Sunset Wading, so that's my vote - not to say that Ant Phillips' wonderful album isn't as good.

both are brilliant recordings but John G Perry is an icon....
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

The Geese and The Ghost for sure, though both are highly rated on my book.

Geese
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Geese and the Ghost.
Combine that with Hackett's Spectral Mornings, because, yeah, reasons . . .
Welcome to the middle of the film.

Listening to Geese and the Ghost before I saw this poll.. So perhaps I have some bias. Sunset Wading has its beautiful moments, but in totality its mixed.

My man Ant on this one Approve
To a man who's still making remarkable albums today, some of his best (Seventh Heaven).
Geese and the Ghost can be very medieval-sounding, which is quite unlike Genesis. Great album, and I don't listen to it very often.

I went for Sunset Wading, but thinking about it, my 2nd favourite piece from Ant ; Henry - Portraits From Tudor Times (Sunrise And Sea Monsters is No.1) is on TGATG. 'Tis a tough poll.
