How come Gentle Giant isn't on this list? I think a lot of people would pick them. |
Gentle Giant would be by far the most hated upon, probably. And then I'd have to include Camel and VDGG and Renaissance and Moody Blues...
But this is the "Big 6." |
I don't think you would because GG are often included in lists of big five and big six. Of course those lists often don't include Rush, PF or JT.

So difficult, since I really love them all... but if I have to choose one, then it would have to be ELP, because they have the shortest span of great albums, and even those are rather uneven, with great songs and forgetable ones. I think, even if the next big ones (in my mind) were included (Camel, Gentle Giant, Van Der Graaf Generator, and Renaissance), my choice for least liked would still be ELP.

ELP in a landslide bigger than the Vargas mudslides of 1999.

None. They all have terrific albums and concerts. Not everything is great of course but thinking in these terms is kind of futile.

Obviously these bands are some of the best ones ever. This poll was asking more so which one you liked least.

I would pick Rush or Dream Theater because they aren't the worst of anything, However, they aren't options in the poll.
I would probably go with either Tull or ELP. Both bands did a lot of stuff that I'm just not into but also stuff that I like very much. Have to think about it before voting

They're called the Big 6 for a reason: they're all awesome!!!
My preference (from best to worst):
1) Yes (from The Yes Album to Going For The One - perfection) 2) Genesis (from Nursery Cryme to Wind And Wuthering - again, perfect) 3) King Crimson (The Wetton era!) 4) ELP (up through Brain Salad Surgery) 5) Jethro Tull (Aqualung, Thick As A Brick, A Passion Play and Songs From The Wood) 6) Pink Floyd (Meddle, Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals)
27 perfect albums right there for you...

Hate me for it, but I picked Pink Floyd. I'm just so sick of hearing their minimal output over and over and over and over. They simply dont have enough material.
