They have so many anthologies. There are a few rarites here but really I don't think that they are going to break it in the USA. I mean the keyboard player is 74 years old !

Poorly designed, looks like a pirate compilation (maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not sure we can add it to Omega discography on PA).

And, as far as I can tell, earliest songs on this compilation are from 1969, not from 1968.

Something fishy here. Does not look legit. The song selection doesn't really jive.

Thing is with all the Omega anthologies many of them were only limited releases. I remember back in the seventies the releases on the Hungarian Pepita label  were only available for three years then that was it. I was lucky to have a Hungarian friend who gave me a whole bunch of these which I still have. Red Star From Hungary was an English one on Decca label from '68  that was not available in Hungary at the time that I found in a second hand shop in International section back in the 80s sometime.

I would also question the quality of the two CDs and this new Anthology 1969 - 1979.

They had some really good stuff back in the seventies. Hall of Floaters In The Sky recorded in England at Chipping Norton studios was arguably the best one and only one track appears on this "Anthology" ?

It makes Brainstorm look tough in this album cover.

Sorry for the digression. I haven't listened to much Omega.

THE BUDAPEST DOLLS
Ironically it was their best selling album. What were they thinking when they came up with this cover? I guess they saw Love Beach and had to one up ELP. It wasn't a bad album musically though. I have both the English one and the Hungarian one.

I think their latest trilogy is better: Rhapsody, symphony, oratorio
