I had an idea to make a random phrase generator with java butt I'd have to come up with phrases over a long period of time or, again, there'd be clear connections to me.

I feel like this is a trait (apparent randomness) I had long ago and have lost little by little as I get older. Maybe I'm just getting used to my methodologies but idk...

I misheard a TV show where Mexico become a state of America in their alternate reaality butt not really because it was a show not the news and even if it was the news it wouldn't make it true becausse I'm pretty sure I misheard. On considering how many difficulties that would pose I realize why we historically turn to war before taking over countries.

That would be one large state alright. Probably would have to merge several states just to make room for it.

When I make "random" stuff, I usually paste a couple of texts together, run them through a cut-up-machine, semi-consciously pick lines from whatever comes out and arrange them until they sort of make sense as a sequence.

But I also sometimes just pick phrases from what I read on the internet.
wasn't ignoring you just trying to think of a good response butt all I got is 'That's a good idea'

Also if you ever finish a random phrase generator of any kind I'm mildly interested.

Waz just gonna be like two or three string arrays w/ one being beginning possibly a second for middle and third for end endd. then randomizer runs 'x' number of times, if a phrase has been used roll again or take it out of the string when used. Repeat until out of phrases, print phrases.

Also now I'm mildly interested because I haven't touched java in a while.

I'd rather not touch Java ever again.

If you already know Java it won't take long to pick up the basics of any other language, most concepts/structures are the same in all languages, just with a different syntax.

I've probably used Lua the most. Lately I've been trying to get better at LISP by going through this.

The main reason I dislike Java is that forces you to use objects and classes when it would make sense to just use general functions. Also, garbage collection makes me uncomfortable because I can't control when it happens. EDIT: Now that I think about it it just makes me uncomfortable in Java because it feels wrong to write "new" without writing "delete". As a contrast I love smart pointers in C++ in an erotic way.

I used to get in between battles between Pascal and Fortran 77. It smelled like a three-ring binder.

I often like to slice large penises before I put them inside me, too.

I'd generally prefer using penises as ornaments rather than stuffing tbh
