it's better for me because there's less people and i can get to everywhere relevant by walking

also i always get lost at helsinki because the streets are not straight :(

I think what I like the most about the really avant garde things is that the phrases, to me,*are* random (less so to the author probably). If I were to attempt it I would know where the connections between the concepts came from. I had an idea to make a random phrase generator with java butt I'd have to come up with phrases over a long period of time or, again, there'd be clear connections to me.

If you generated the phrases randomly from a general dictionary, wouldn't the amount of connections be minimal?

When I make "random" stuff, I usually paste a couple of texts together, run them through a cut-up-machine, semi-consciously pick lines from whatever comes out and arrange them until they sort of make sense as a sequence.

But I also sometimes just pick phrases from what I read on the internet.
