Odd that you exclude 'Live at Hammersmith" for being budget priced but include "Genesis Live". By that logic "Three Sides Live" should be Genesis's 2nd.

In addition, 'Live at Hammersmith' was not contemporaneous and not put out by the band's label - thus differing considerably from 'Genesis Live'

Accepted, but it was released before 'A Little Light Music' AFAIK.

Seconds Out defies the Second Live Syndrome. Delicate Sound of Thunder is a close ... er ... second.

No worries, I didn't vote for them anyway, and wouldn't have voted for Three Sides either.

USA, Seconds Out and the ELP.
USA was nowhere near as awkward as the first Crim live album, Earthbound.
The PF was interesting s PF had grown into such a vocally oriented band (e.g On The Turning Away. Plus you get DG doing his guitar solo fest unlike the more spacey era Ummagumma. Ironically perhaps it's his lyric-less vocal on Saucer which proved to highlight a stunning version of the piece.
Tull's was ok but I've not played it in ages. Like most albums really.
The only one I found slightly appalling was Yesshows. Atlantic released it before Squire had finished editing it. The least they could have done was make sure it sounded ok. There are plenty of era relative bootlegs that are so much better. Good for Roger Dean's art of course.

I happen to like them all, as odd as it might be, so it's a hard choice for me. I'll vote for Tull this time, mainly because I just heard it yesterday, but it could go either way.

Crimson although I have a soft spot for Delicate Sound Of Thunder. I usually prefer live albums to studio ones but with Genesis it's the other way around.
A Little Light Music used to be in heavy rotation some 15 years ago. My friends and I thought it was smoking and were particulsrly fond of Boureé's metal inclinations. Nowadays it's the duet between guitar and flute during Rocks On The Road that excites me from this release. Perhaps the most beautiful flutters ever to pour out of Anderson's gob.

A Little Light Music is so good that I don't even look at it as a live album. I played the living crap out of USA until The Great Deceiver box set came out.

Seconds Out is nearly too perfect for a live album but still love it----and Yesshows---especially the Moraz songs is very exciting even if the production is just ok

Gates Of Delirium on Yesshows is pure magic . Thus my vote.
And Seconds Out is overrated.

I thought I was the only one who feels Seconds Out is overrated. Give me live Genesis with Peter Gabriel any day.

Okay, I actually like Delicate Sound. It has (I believe) the most Momentary Lapse-centric songs featured on it, and that's an album I quite like. Probably the only one who thinks so.
and it includes Ummagumma's live side? Why haven't more people voted for this???

USA, though I prefer the KCCC release of the show.
