There weren't enough prog albums from 1957 or 2017 to choose from.

Eloy, followed by Kansas - the rest are absolutely nowhere.

I voted for the Art Zoyd per usual, but I was very tempted to go with the Pink Floyd. Following that would be the Koenjihayakkei.
When I saw the poll I wondered if Art Zoyd would be there for Haxan in 1997 or Berlin in 1987. Either way, I came in looking for Art Zoyd.

I almost killed myself trying to choose between Devin Townsend and Voivod, that was so hard for me. They both mean the world to me (in metal)
bbbuuuuttttt, I chose Ziltoid because because I overall prefer Dimension Hatross and Nothingface in Voivod's discography

Classical music isn't dead, it's more alive than it's ever been. It's just not on MTV.

Days of Future Passed. Perhaps the most beautiful prog album ever created.

yeah... can't beat that.. though a lot of love for the Symph X album... few prog metal albums as good as that one.. none better. ehhh.. giving it a vote for the heck of it. The Moodies should own this one.. and even if they don't... oh well

I give the edge to Kansas just over Pink Floyd and Eloy.

The classics will always win such a contest! Back in 97, I would have voted for Stereolab's Dots and Loops...

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.
