John G Perry Sunset wading, thats a lovely lp and very underated. Anthony Phillips Geese and the Ghost is another 'drift off' lp for me, gentle and calm. Pat Metheny, As falls Witchita so falls Witchita Falls is great bed time music.. Vangelis 'Soil Festivities' (bit 'ambient' in this context perhaps) lovely drifting off with the rain falling on the roof of your caravan (lived in one many years back) and Hergest ridge by Mike Oldfield

Geese and the Ghost has too many frantic moments imo and so does Trespass and some of Camel's later albums. Harbour of Tears by Camel might be good though. I haven't heard it in a long time but I remember it being rather drifty.
