The original Batman, Adam West has gone on to the Batcave in the sky.  Died at the age of 88.  RIP and thanks for such a classic character!

Right on, Jim, no doubt a precious childhood memory for many of us `of a certain age', I have such fond memories of watching it with my Mum when I was a kid! Maybe this picture will do, a friend sent it to me, sorry not sure who to credit it to, though.

Don't you go spraying no Heaven Repellent Batspray on your next journey, mr West!

This bluray boxset has held a special standout spot in my collection for a few years. I'll be watching a few episodes in tribute to Mr West tonight.

^ Damn Michael, that is awesome!  Loved all those classic villains, especially the Julie Newmar version of Catwoman...wink, wink, nod, nod, say no more, say no more.

Just about a month ago, saw the campy Batman movie on Netflix, what a hoot.  The Bat shark repellent spray...:)

RIP legend.

Jim, there's an amusing recent full-length animated movie out on Bluray and DVD that features the voices on Adam West, Burt `Robin' Ward and Julie Newmar reprising their classic roles from the old show called `Return of the Caped Crusaders', in the same colourful style as the Sixties show too! It's pretty fun, and I seem to be reading that Adam had completed his dialogue of a follow-up as well, which means it will likely be his swan-song.
