Putting lipstick on a pig does not change said pig's fundamental porcine nature. Every song I've listened to in this thread is repetitive, because the rappers need a repetitive beat in order to mumble their stereotypically gangsta lyrics (and nearly every lyric on this thread merely emphasizes the asinine cliches of the genre).

I watched Saturday Night Live briefly last night, and there was a clever parody of the imbecilic premise of hip hop, where each song requires 10 producers, 10 additional artists and a decided lack of musical ability:

Humorously enough, the video you offered from Aesop Rock contains just the sort of stereotypical crap I was referring to. Another video in this thread actually has a warning from the poster regarding language content. The third video from L.U.C. & Rahim is in Polish, but thanks to Google Translate, I can see it is the only one not dealing with the usual gangbanging tripe.
