You can consider any version (live or studio), specify your preference.

This is pretty difficult. I'll go with Set The Controls...

I quite like the version of Careful With That Axe... on Ummagumma, so I'll go with that.

Have to go with Careful with that Axe. If only because I remember blasting it out of my dorm window !-)

He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Love the brooding sinister vibes of Eugene (and Wright's organ chords), but Set The Controls has the intense build up with some of Wright's most impressive playing (IMO, of course).

I can't choose, they are both just too great. On their live versions, of course (Ummagumma or Pompeii, I prefer Set the Controls on the Pompeii version, though I'm not so sure about Eugene, I think that one might have a slight preference on the Ummagumma version).

Careful has several great versions, one of Pink Floyd's most underrated tracks. Easy choice.

This is a very tough one. My favourite versions: Pompeiï for Set the Controls, the 5'46" studio version for Eugene. Today I pick the latter.

Impossible choice - I first heard 'Eugene' when I got Relics as a 12 year old - 'Set the Controls' came a year later when I brought home a Floyd bootleg from a school trip to Switzerland!
