Transuranic Heavy Elements (Psychedelic Rock?)

Transuranic Heavy Elements was started in Hämeenlinna, Finland early 2015. So this is not an old band. We have been playing together in other bands (and still are), but this is something unique.

While working with other bands more or less together we three wanted to do something more freeform music – just go into studio, press record and start playing. Just to chill out.

Initially we tried to include pre-planned songs into our sessions, but soon we realized, that most interesting things come out when we don’t think too much – just play. We started to go through all the music we have recorded and we were awestruck: Is this really something we only did as traditional guitar+bass+drums band? It sounds just too big to be that!

We found out, that while we have been releasing some of the music as it came out we were quickly gaining archives which would need further processing to get all out of them.
We started to sort the songs out and to figure out what is this thing actually. We came to the conclusion, that clearly we have a consistent theme worth of several separate albums, and to make them real we started to do the after works for those “song skeletons”.
