Love both, but voted Raven.
Why did you include a "Not a SW fan" option though? If they're not a fan, they're obviously not going to vote. You're just directing the wrong kind of people here.

Not the wrong kind of people. Lol. I think it's ok for someone not to be a fan of something. It shows me that not everyone likes his music. I included that option instead of including "other" or his first two albums. I wanted to mainly focus on those two but still give an option for those who aren't voting because they just don't care for him. But in hindsight I probably should have included "not a fan of these two" instead of "not a SW fan."

I do not consider myself of fan of SWilson but I have both these albums, so I voted as if I were a fan. Of the two, Raven in easily my favorite although I like the other as well.

I'm confused. You like both but you're not a fan? Wouldn't liking both of them make you a fan?

I really like Grace For Drowning. I really disliked Insurgentes (but liked disc 2). In fact the P Tree disc 2s are often more interesting than the main album. Even with P Tree as I found Nil Recurring to be more interesting than Blank Planet which I also liked a lot. And the second disc with The (non) Incident was more enjoyable than the main album - which is not saying much.
However other than Grace I was not keen on the rest. And getting less interested by the minute.
I suppose I'm not a fan. I like one solo album and really like P Tree but not much of his other projects. I would say that I am a fan of P Tree. Maybe without SW none of that would've been possible but his band mates had a strong say and I think that may have given him a creative lift that I can't help but think has been lacking.
Oh and from what's been posted I am really not looking forward to the next album.

Raven didn't really do a great deal for me. Good, but not exceptional.
Hand Cannot erase is just brilliant.

Maybe not too surprising to see Raven on top. Then again: modern prog with Crimson riffs almost always goes down a treat with prog fans whereas any signs of pop music promptly get the lynching attitude out and about. Crimson good pop bad. "But what if the pop music is progressive and the Crimson music really isn't?" Prog is always progressive even if it's been done from here to infinity and back...time sigs y'know!"

I can't speak for him but for me being a "fan" means liking more of an artist's output than just a handful of songs or a couple albums. For instance, I love Live's Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi albums. I don't care for anything else from that band. Does that make me a Live fan? I don't think so.
I love SCIENCE and Make Yourself from Incubus but quickly lost interest in them after that. Does that make me an Incubus fan? Perhaps a fan of early Incubus but not a fan of the band overall
