Tin Drum, no contest.
Soldato of the Pan Head Mafia. We'll make you an offer you can't listen to.

Holy s**t, I just got Tin Drum on vinyl for $12 just last week!!

My friend Tyler and I compare these two masterpieces, funny you mention them.. Tin Drum seems to be hated-on on this site, which is really intriguing to me. As Vienna is thought quite positively, most reviewers beg music-listeners to steer clear of Tin.

I, for one, LOVE the STRONG Chinese element in Tin Drum, makes it SO unique, even compared to the worlds of 70's albums I know. Maybe just because it's newer for me, I'm gonna have to vote for TIN DRUM even though I think Vienna is brilliant.

Not too familiar with Ultravox, they sound kinda classy though.
Japan are awesome. Loved 'em for years. Polaroids will always be my pick from them, but Tin Drum is a ripper. Nice to hear Simon House playing some violin too !

Vienna is ok, but Tin Drum still blows me away after all these years. Japan were superb at that point.
