Topic: Tanz der Lemmng vs Pawn Heart Posted: August 05 2017 at 09:28 |
Two very strong exentric albums with lots of genre pushing elements and elements which have not been reproduced since. Very strong albums of music.
Very good, raw sound with a jazz, folk, medeval, tribal feel. Very cloustophobic at times.

Tanz is probably my least favourite of the first 5 ADII albums. I vote Pawn Hearts.

I was going to keep my comments in one thread, but I just never know when to shut up. Both are five star albums to me, but I am very Duul.
Really close match-up for me, and at different times I could go either way, but Duul for this dullard.

Pawn Hearts by a mile. This is the second poll I've tiebroken now, albeit once for each band.

Fave AD II vs fave VdGG. Essentially a tie, but I guess I listen to Pawn Hearts more frequently.

both excellent albums. I would usually vote for ""Pawn Hearts", but
because of the recent death of the legendary Rolf Zacher, who appears on
"Tanz der Lemminge" (he does the vocals at the end of the "Restless
Skylight Transistor Child" suite) I will vote for "Tanz" this time

Pawn is great, but Tanz is my favourite Amon-album. So it´s that.

Both very strong albums, hard to decide. I vote ADII based on my mood today, tomorrow it can be different.
