The funny thing is on the main page of the forum, when this is the last topic responded to, all you can see of the title is 'what's the worst bit about living'.

Every town centre looks the same.

The weather is appalling.

The trains (to anywhere - but the west coast journeys are an abomination. You need to take supplies in case the train breaks down in the middle of nowehere as it did for me once on the way back from Plymouth - for six hours!!)

A government of little England numpty's

The cost of living in relation to wages.

UKIP

Establishment and media contempt for the poor.

Yep, that about sums it up... I would add the road network, its appalling condition and FAR FAR FAR too many cars for the main network to absorb (add to this that a sizeable number of people DONT know how to drive, particularly on motorways which all summer are just giant car-parks. I'm lucky, I just stay in Devon these days and use the back lanes...
