So it's not the Pink Floyd compilation called works?
Weird huh?
I still vote Ummugumma though

Classical music isn't dead, it's more alive than it's ever been. It's just not on MTV.

I was slightly confused at first because Pink Floyd has an album called works but it's a compilation album(and a rather obscure one at that) and didn't fit the description. Anyway, I never actually heard Works by ELP in it's entirety so I won't vote.

Oh man, I totally forgot about Floyd's Works compilation when I did this poll... and usually I try to be very specific and add both band and album/song on the choices and on the post... but somehow I got distracted and didn't do it so. I hope the votes have not been lead astray too much... but it might be so. I guess I'll try to rectify it editing the OP.

^ this is absolutely inexcusable, this is a serious site man.
I propose a 2 years banishment for the culprit.

Not a big deal buddy, Ummagumma would have won either way.

Interesting - looking at chart history Ummagumma was more popular in the UK, but in the US Works Vol. 1 is way out in front.

I love Works, but with Ummagumma there's no game.

It's Works for me. It's the ELP album I listen to most often.

And since I won't be able to check out PA for further references, I'll have to start getting lot's of modern Hip Hop and electronic music, plus a good deal of bland radio friendly pop and country.

This is a shame. I was looking forward to an album not in the poll actually winning...

Hmm.....don't play either album much. I suppose Ummagumma though...it has some classic Floydian bits while Works is when ELP started slipping in my book.
