I know Mick Pointer was one of the core members of the early band.
But to me one of the worst drummers in progrock ever.

I'm afraid to say, but he didn't improve much in Arena either.........

I didn't know Steve Rothery threw a television set at Fish. Did he get him?

Clutching followed by Misplaced...
He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Ah a band I've really been getting into lately. So far I think all four of those albums are very good, but for me(and again I just very recently started listening to it), the debut just edges out Clutching at Straws.

I always preferred Fugazi and Misplaced Childhood over Clutching and Script. Today I pick Misplaced Childhood.

+1 the definitive live Childhood. Awesome sound and performance.

A friend of mine once played some demo (?) tracks sung by Fish, that ended up on Season's End.
None the less, a great debut for h.

These demos are on the bonusdisc of Clutching at Straws. :D
The lyrics ended up on Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors.

I'm baffled that CAS is winning, always considered this album to be a poor Misplaced Childhood copy (in everything, from flow and structure to actual melodies and lyrics) - the only song I love there is "White Russian".

Script for me, easily the most important record in my life
