Ok, I'll do the newbie introduction.
Hello, Paul from Oregon here. Been into prog since I was nineteen and my cousin gave me, "Close to the Edge." That led to King Crimson, the Canterbury groups, Gong, Magma, Henry Cow, etc and lots of more modernish bands like, Yeti, Controlling Hand, Hella, Tarantula Hawk, Ruins, etc. In my youth I played music professionally but started a family and had to get "a real job." Now my wife and I are starting a small scale farm out in the sticks. I still write and play a lot of music, but just for fun now.
Just wanna vote in polls and eschew my meaningless opinions!

 you should have seen me a in a red dress.... I've left them broken hearted.. I used to be so bad... such a dick tease. I'll still never forget getting a few of the collabs here when I first joined... just being normal was nevrer in my cards. Most like Paul just introduced themselves... me... I had to join as a woman and proceeded to get a few of our old collabs reallly hot and bothered before I decided I had taken that far enough and decided to sign up as 'me'. Funny though.. that account is still active and occaasionally log in to give myself extra votes in polls hahaha

yeah but this (2004) was before Raff.. when I didn't have a woman....all I had was a spouce with horns and a pitchfork.. not a woman... but the f**king Spawn of Satan.
