Born in 1960. Got to experience all of the great prog of the late 60s and early 70s in real time on vinyl. Been playing guitar since I was 13. After hearing Caress of Steel I became a Rush nut. Found a drummer and bassist who were also Rush nuts and formed a band. Played pro from 1978 to 1981 (disco killed our band). At one time or another we played:

The Trees
La Villa Strangiato
Passage to Bangkok
Circumstances
Xanadu
Cygnus X1

Big fan of some of the more recent prog like:

	I had an original "space metal" power-trio in the mid and late 70s in So. Cal., played a lot of backyard parties in West Covina. And Rush was one of our early influences. The best band around at the time was a band named "Sky People," they had a very hard edge and a synth player. And they were just everywhere, the valley, Hollywood, dominated for awhile there. Did you ever see them @Chula Vista ? Thx
