Hope I'm not repeating a previous thread...
With the spectre of Fripp putting KC into mothballs again, how about this? I found the interactive portion of the Live in Japan 95 DVD interesting...combining different vocalists and instrumentalists on the same song to create your own "fantasy" King Crimson... Create your own Crimson with the following guidelines: a. Fripp is always included b. The band will be at least four members c. A minimum of one previous member besides Fripp and a maximum of two previous members. d. All "fantasy" members must be in the here and the now....no John Bonhm's, no Jimi Hendrix's, etc... you catch my drift... e. Put aside any existing press about any personality conflicts or conflicting musical styles My line-up, a seven piece: Fripp - Guitar, Mellotron Tony Levin - Stick, Bass, B. Vox Trent Gardner - Trombone, Keys, B. Vox Theo Travis - Woodwinds Zoltan Csorsz - Drums Barry Andrews - Keys, Lead Vox Benoît Moerlen - Mallets Edited by DEzerov |

Nothing so complicated for me...take the 1972
Fripp/Bruford/Wetton/Cross/Muir line up and simply ditch Cross and
replace him with Tippett (Ok, only a part-time collaborateur and not a
proper member, so what!!)
Now theres a show |

holy... I thought I was the ONLY one who thought Zoltan would be the PERFECT drummer for King Crimson! I even made a thread about it a while back! As for myself... I'd like to see Robert Fripp - Guitar/Frippertronics Zoltan Csorsz - Drumkit Jonas Reingold - Bass Fredrik Thordendal - Guitar/breath controller Just picture that for a moment.
