Cool. Now we just need an eclectic team. Maybe we can get Max to end capcha and get all the collabs who left the site back...and in the process add those what 1000+ bands that at the moment all are queuing indefinitely.
Sounds like a plan.

Still under evaluation with the eclectic team, but we've been having a bit of trouble finding samples for the full album. Only a handful of songs are on youtube, and the ok.ru link (which I believe should have the full album) hasn't been working for us.

To get the access to the tracks listening you have to Register as a member. I have just registered myself by clicking on Register, entering my phone number to receive a Code which I entered to register.
I can listen to the tracks on the website now.
Thanks.

An additional information on the band that may be helpful:

An underestimated prog rock formation of the late 70's from Quebec, in the center of which was the guitarist Gaétan Laurendeau, from whose name the group's name came. Other participants included Serge Fréchette (saxophone, vocoder, vocals), Lorraine Blainchard (keyboards and vocals), Serge Martineau on bass and Marc Prud'homme on drums and percussion. Through the label "Capitol Records" they released a single, self-titled vinyl album, recorded at the end of the same year in the Montreal "Studio De Son Quebec". L'Orient D'Ô was one of those groups that arose under the influence of the boom of the French-speaking progression of the poetic style and, apparently, very good. They played emotional, very symphonic and intricate music with romantic vocals and choruses full of impressive keyboard themes, mostly performed on the organ and synthesizer, as well as with some pretty accurate and inventive guitar parts. Their sound is comparable to the works of the compatriots POLLEN, differing less dramatic, but equally theatrical approach.

Although in general the release material seems rather vocal-heavy, but the background music is excellent, with a number of beautiful melodies, classical strokes and sweet-voiced chants. There are also some wonderful piano parts throughout the series of dreamy segments with symphonic rips and musical tricks a la GENESIS / ANGE between their lyrical accent and the elegant, instrumental environment. The very performance is impeccable and not too far from the model, long tracks pass through several different variations, made in the style of progressive mini-suites. Of course, the leader-guitarist Laurendeau was the main brain of this project, but the keyboard player Blainchard with her TONY BANK-style play is also clearly able to shine everywhere, which confirms, and the leading vocalist Fréchette, who is a typical French-speaking prog-rock singer, pretty good with his expressive baritone. Later Gaétan Laurendeau opened his own recording studio and said that at that time the band recorded much more material, but probably he was thoroughly buried somewhere in the archives, because even this lone album "L'Orient D'Ô" is still not republished.

Thanks!

That is a security risk I am in no way willing to take.

Neither would I.

Anyway, I did manage to find a second track on soundcloud here.
Although I've only heard two of the tracks, they both strike me as strictly symphonic prog, which is consistent with the descriptions that have been linked here comparing them to Genesis and Ange.

Does anyone know if ProgQuebec has plans to reissue this album? After Maelstrom from last year, it would be another excellent release!

They have been sent to Symphonic by eclectic, they are in evaluation.

I'm not sure, so I abstain and we have a vote in favour, probably for Monday we'll have the final decision, we were informed yesterday.

Here's the only band photo I could find online, it's taken from the back album cover:
