I'm voting the same even though I don't like either as much as you. I am quoting you because I like Moroder considerably. I do like various of his Euro-Disco stuff, but I'm particularly a long-time fan of the Midnight Express and Cat People soundtracks (two of my earliest soundtrack purchases, loved the films, and still enjoy those soundtracks to this day)

I do like the Midnight Express soundtrack and I adore "From Here to Eternity" but this song is quite bad.

A Whiter Shade of Pale sounds trivialized, muzaked and well, molested.

Moroder slightly better as it has that sleazy thing but pay good money for these versions?
