Maybe so but I had their "more" and "Obscured by Clouds" albums in mind since those are actual soundtracks.

Maybe so but I had their "more" and "Obscured by Clouds" albums in mind since those are actual soundtracks to films which is what I thought you were looking for otherwise I can give you names of King Crimson and Yes songs that appear in movies too.

Obviously, CAN: Spoon was adopted by hit German TV cop show Das Messer. Then, on their Soundtracks LP you may get tracks used in Deadlock, 1970, dir. Roland Klick ; Cream – Schwabing Report; Mädchen... nur mit Gewalt, 1970, dir. Roger Fritz; Deep End, 1971, dir. Jerzy Skolimowski; Ein großer graublauer Vogel, 1969, dir. Thomas Schamoni. Later She Brings the Rain was featured in Wim Wenders' 1994 film Lisbon Story, the 2000 Oskar Roehler film Die Unberührbare and Tran Anh Hung's film Norwegian Wood, released in 2010. Also Vitamin C is cropped up in Pedro Almodovar's Broken Embraces. And maybe some others.

Well first of all "More" and "Obscured by Clouds" are from films of the same name. As for Yes and King Crimson here we go:
YES:
I've seen all good people- heard in the films mr. deeds(featuring Adam Sandler), Almost Famous and Dick Roundabout - can be heard briefly in the background in Almost Famous; Also the song was mentioned in the movie "School of Rock." It was also used in the movie Outside Providence. Heart of the Sunrise - Heard in the film Buffalo 66 Sweetness (from the first Yes album) In Buffalo 66 Owner of a Lonely Heart - Can be heard sung in the movie the Breakup(movie with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn).
King Crimson:
In the Court of the Crimson King- heard in Children of Men (Dystopian Sci Fi movie from 2006) Moonchild (first part) heard in Buffalo 66 (yeah the director Vincent Gallo is apparently a big KC and Yes fan)
Bonus: The term progressive rock was mentioned in two films that I'm aware of: Austin Powers the Spy who shagged me(Seth Green's character describes the Alan Parson's Project as a "progressive rock band from 1982." Also, a female character in the film Return of the Seacaucus Seven(from 1980) explains to a guy that she likes "progressive rock mostly" which she then explains to him is bands such as "Yes, Genesis, King Crimson and Rush." He then says something like "Right, right. Heavy metal goes to College."
There are probably several other examples(and from other bands)but those are the ones I'm aware of.

"The Fibonaccis" appeared in the movie "Valet Girls" as the band "Sexy Holiday" in 1987. Peter Gabriel appeared as a hologramm in a SF B Movie (TV Series?) .

Pink Floyds Obscured by Clouds album was actually for the movie "La Vallee". They also did music for a film called Zabriskie Point. If anyone has seen the making of Dark Side of The Moon doco, then they'll know that one of the rejected songs from Zabriskie Point became Us and Them. |

Tangerine Dream in the movie Legend (which also had Jon Anderson on Loved By the Sun), and I think I heard some of 'Floyd's Comfortably Numb in The Departed (sung by someone else).

Rick Wakeman's music was used in some Airforce documentary from the late seventies but I have no idea what the name of it is. It was mentioned on PE a while ago but that was a long time ago and I've never been able to figure it out.

From what I've read the Subterranea movie was horrible. The few ratings on IMDB gave it a really low score(something around a 4). There needs to be better prog related movies to make up for it.

The animated film "When the Wind Blows" features a 24+ minute side-long suite by Roger Waters. The title track was by David Bowie, and it also featured "The Brazilian" by Genesis.
