I know that "Fish" is technically a solo piece but I decided to include it as part of LDR anyway.

I'd say "Heart of the Sunrise" out of the longer ones but really I only come back to this album for "Cans and Brahms", "The Fish" and "Mood for a Day".

Do you still listen to the album all the way through or just skip to those songs specifically?

I said "all equal" even though I don't consider LDR as good as the other three; it was just a way to support those three most of all, which are the best tracks by a considerable margin. Altogether, though, it's a great album.

I gave this album a spin just three hours ago. South Side of the Sky is my favourite track, followed by Heart of the Sunrise.

Heart of the Sunrise, Southside of the Sky, Roundabout, followed by the rest. All very close though. Fragile is one of my favorite Yes albums.

Southside for me, Howe's guitar on the song is very high-energy!!

The entire LP is fantastic, I used to wear out the 8 track tape in my 1972 Chevy Nova!!

I'm sort of torn between Southside and Heart of the Sunrise. Hmmmmm. I guess I'll chose Hots but it's close.

Southside, Roundabout, Long Distance Runaround, Heart of the Sunrise, in that order.  All are great tracks.

Yeah, I would just switch the order of those first two and then it's what I would have. But as everyone has said they're all great, it's a dominating album second only to Close to the Edge in their catalogue(imo). It's hard to compare the two though because CTTE is more 'perfect' all the way through, but this one is kind of special in a way that the other isn't. Idk, both fantastic albums in their own right though.

Oh man a 1972 Chevy Nova eh? Loved the look of those cars.
My favourite YES album and those four longer tracks are all pretty much 5 star tracks for me. And that's the biggest difference in my opinion between this album and the previous one "The Yes Album" which in my opinion has one song heads above the rest.
Heart Of The Sunrise was my vote just over Southside Of The Sky.

I used to skip everything else just to get to Heart of the Sunrise because I loved it so much. Oversaturation. So now it's South Side of the Sky.

Heart of the Sunrise
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Exactly the order of my preference too, though I have a bit of hesitation to choose No. 1 between South Side and Roundabout. There's something about Heart of the Sunrise that puts me slightly off... though it's a really good track anyway (though my very favourite version of that song is the one played live by ABWH).

I'm glad you consider them together. I do feel that Long Distance sounds incomplete without it being followed by the Fish... for me The Fish is just like the songs own bass solo at the end (instead of a guitar solo).
