This is the only album by Yes my dad ever owned. I didn't listen to it until after I got into the band through 90125.  Still, this is one of the band's best. Which of the longer tracks on this classic do you prefer?

Starship Trooper for me. Another really special album from them. And I, also, got into them originally in the '80s through 90125. Got into Genesis through the self-titled album around roughly the same time.

Perpetual Change!
"Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar."

Starship Trooper---(plus Wurm is on Rolling Stones top all time guitar solos lol) -but really like the live versions of these songs with Rick more than the original.

I love all 4 of the main tracks equally, with a slight downtick to All Good People only due to its familiarity through over-playment on radio. This is why I consider it their best.

I like them all equally. Great album.
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

Starship Trooper for me too, and I do love the live versions too... well, mostly the Keys to Ascension one (though the live versions after this one with Wakeman seem to have that same keyboard - guitar duel on them too). The only problem with those Wakeman additions to the Wurm section is that, well, he seems to steal the Wurm section from Howe. However, I don't really like any of the other songs from this album all that much, so having the live version of Starship Trooper, I could actually do without The Yes Album.

Venture is close to my fave. Where da fark is it? ;)
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

I'm having a surprisingly difficult time giving any coherent order to these. Any track could be the best or the worst of the four. I've been underrating this album apparently.

Leaning slightly towards Yours Is No Disgrace, but honestly I have no idea.
