Xanadu all the way. It's musically an interesting epic song from beginning to end, while beginning of Hemispheres is great, after first 4 minutes the song goes into repetition and becomes dull.

Your pick?

Hemispheres today but I love both.

Xanadu is very cool but I consider Hemispheres to be Rush's best epic...

Xanadu - in a league of it's own. Prefer Hemispheres to Cygnus X1 - so I treat them as separate entities despite the narrative link and the mid-track reprise in the latter. "...Apollo was astonished..." Not 'arf!
"...and the man in the mirror has sad eyes."

Hemispheres for me if only for the eerie "ghost" section towards the end.

Xanadu for me too. Hemisphere is good and all, but I guess in the end it IS too long for it's own good... or at least for my own enjoyment.

Love both (especially that outro in Xanadu), but Hemispheres gets the nod.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.

I used to. I got ESL before I got Kings so the ESL version is the one I cut my teeth on. When I finally got Kings, I thought the studio version sounded odd but it grew on me and now it's the one I prefer

I heard ESL first too, and the studio version is excellent, but I prefer the production and Geddy's voice on the live version.
