We Can't Dance may be an unimpressive offering, but the closing track "Fading Lights" is great. It could be on ...ATTWT.

I can see no other than And Then There Were Three at the top of the post-Hackett albums. There was still a sense of his presence around, and Rutherford was trying extra hard to mimic his sound (along with some traces on Duke). Those two are the only relevant ones if we're trying to connect dots with Hackett.

1) Duke
2) ATTWT
.....and then the rest merged into some pop-orientated spiral - with albums defined often by a single good track (I.e. Mama) amongst a lot of dross. Calling All Stations seemed to be an attempt to readdress the slant, but was just a bit uneven and dull, sadly for Ray.

For me when Hackett left that was the end of Genesis and for some it was when Gabriel left.
