Tim Hart and Mandy Prior - Heyday

A thorough compendium of earlier acoustic folk tracks from these two great Steeleye Span stalwarts: earthy, real, simple, wonderful stuff. The musical equivalent of a tasty real ale in an earthenware mug!
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

"Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar."

Sorry to take so long--had to make some tea....

Yikes! You all look cyanotic! I was just kidding about holding your breath!

Well, it's Talk Talk - Laughing Stock

A fine album, but not worth dying for! Geez, guys!

Nothing now, though I just finished Future Days.

Hold your collective breath while I go pick something out.
Um dee dum dee dum....

In fact, the instrumental atmosphere of the first track, sounds like it's actually raining. I would like to experience that too.

CAN - FD

There you go! Who needs opium?

Maybe I'll play it, take a trip and never leave the farm... er, house!

Farm out! Right arm! Cows milk!

Extremely pleasant! My favorite CAN album. I can listen to these drum lines all day long.

Yes, fabulous drumming from "wunderkind" Liebezeit!

Such a dream-like, trippy, UNIQUE album! I can still recall how powerful and engrossing my first listen was, lying on my bed in the dark with headphones on, so many years ago! Future days long past.... Thanks for inspiring me to get the CD out again.

I think it was the first album I ever reviewed here (back when the site was new), if you are interested.
I agree with what you state in your review. It is truly unique, meditative and dreamy. Thanks to you also for sharing your review.
