what a great album Clap

kicking the day off here with a stroll down memory lane.. an album that brings back a lot of memories of a special time in my life .. my first college stint.. fresh out of high school and with the whole world in front of you ripe for the taking.. and right before it went completely off the rails for the next 20 years...

Hey Bartek! Doing great! Big adjustment going from the blue collar blood and guts world .. always merely one bad day from being incinerated... kind of work to clean white collar stuff where gettting a paper cut is ones worst fear but liking it. Raff is really digging it especially as my stress levels have dropped hundred fold and I am just a happier person and not so stressed out.

How you been? All been well?

^ That's geat to know! Smile

I have been absorbed by my new relationship and that's why I didn't come here very often as of late. Yes, I live with a nice girl now and loving her (even though she hates my music. She's out now so I can take this opportunity to listen to some). Big smile

that's awesome!!!! Really glad to hear that. I had noticed you had not been around, glad to hear it was for a good reason! haha.

as far as the music.. hey give her time.. it took years before I got Raff to dig her some Willie Nelson and Glen Parsons hahah. She'll come around.. great music always wins in the end. Hopefully her music is half way palatible to you. I still have nightmares everytime I think of.. much less hear.. f**king Celine Dion...

micky, I missed the news that you got a new job. Congrats! Watch out for those paper cuts though, they can be quite nasty. Especially, the folder kind. LOL

Speaking of Willie, are you familiar with his son's band:

Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real

I just read about this album in Classic Rock this morning and thought I have to mention it to micky.

She's not much into music at all actually. And I listen mostly to metal nowadays which she hates. Maybe I should put on something mellower. LOL

Anyway, her name's Joanna and she's 27 (i.e. 12 years younger than me). Approve

not into music? Don't know that many that really aren't. Suppose they are rather common but I sure don't know many that are not. So yeah.. I could see your metal afflication being a bit much for her hahah.

anyhow.. hey.. try some RPI man. If that music isn't making me hungry.. it imakes me horny.

12 years younger! Nice!!!! I'm not sure if it was by choice.. or just fate.. or just an lost soul/kicked puppy appeal I had to their maternal senses but other than the Spawn of Satan I always got mixed up with older women. My favorite war story being the one that one year younger than my mom. That was a phone conversation with mom I will never forget.. so much can be said by total silence on the phone hahaha
