Talking Heads - Remain in Light (1980)

This Eno production is a masterpiece of early 80's prog, together with Bowie's Lodger (79) and Crimson's Discipline (81), stands out as examples of a new direction that many great albums not going mainstream took the turn of the decade.

David Byrne - Jerry Harrison - Tina Weymouth – Chris Frantz

With:  Brian Eno – Nona Hendryx - Adrian Belew - Robert Palmer - José Rossy - Jon Hassell

kicking the weekend off with style..  on last night's theme..

perfect pieces of music.. in the prog category..  I'd have to nominate this one on the very short list of contenders...  if all symphonic prog.. sh*t man. .even a percentage of it was this good. I might actually like symphonic prog instead of it being one of my least favorite .. to say most.. overcooked and cliche ridden branches of prog.
