Don't know that many of these. Voting for SBB and Beefheart although the Brainticket and Bacamarte albums are quite good too.

Ya, Nightwinds is a cool album and, "The Pirate's of Rebecca's Choice" is a fantastic track. Luckily someone uploaded the album to youtube so it's not completely lost https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fXY6E5Pgiw Edited by The.Crimson.King - December 12 2017 at 09:30 |

From the albums I've listened to: Adonis by Anyone's Daughter and "Memento..." by SBB are both to me really good. Bacamarte never really did anything for me. Oh, and Blå Vardag would've been much better if it'd had some vocals.

^ Thanks for the rec...only heard Bacamarte (good one indeed) but I'm pretty sure everything on the list is worth a listen. That Dennis dude is def an authority on very obscure stuff, many bands listed here i've never even heard of.

^ oh yeah, and Amenophis!
Bacamarte is good but I never got into it as much as some people. I should listen again. There was one track I loved, so I should at least listen to that one again!

The only album I know from this list is Brainticket's "Voyage", so I won't vote. My favorite album from that period is not on the list, though it is also a lesser known one - "Fairy Tales" by Mother Gong.

^Really much recommend you (and also everyone else) listen to Doc at the Radar, it´s the tightest Beefheart album!
