Topic: emerging prog talent.... Posted: December 20 2017 at 23:08
I recently found footage of this young fellow on Facebook, where he was playing some covers of Jaco Pastorius music! I sent it to Percy Jones of Brand X (I'm a friend of the band), and he raved about it!
Check this fellow out....his jamming reminds me of Percy's bass lines on Eno's "Another Green World!"
Does anyone else have any up & coming talent they'd like to share?

Percy sent me this note to pass on to his mom: This is the clip that Percy raved about!
Charles, please pass this on. Hi Vivian, Your Son has a lot of talent, really good chops and intonation at such a young age. I was still working on my shoe laces at that age. I hope he keeps it up, sooner or later he will inevitably start developing a style of his own, so that's going to be an exciting experience. Percy.

Awesome! He should be big time in no time.
He should hook up with this 10 year drummer girl in Denmark (I think), although she seems to like the heavier stuff. I would try posting a youtube, but it would take me 4 days with craptcha. But her name is Johanne Astrid, this should be the URL to see her... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42NkcbsVykc.

Thanks, all! I also enjoy the work that Jon Anderson did with the School of Rock projects. Hopefully, some of these talented youngsters will continue to make new music in the future.
