Whether it be on the radio, or someone's link.
Whether it be philosophical or aesthetic. For me, Red Rain by Peter Gabriel. Can't stand the sentiment in the song.

What is the sentiment and why do you hate it?

Arcade Fire: Everything Now. Ridicilous, irritating song both lyrically and musically. And specially when you hear it too many times.

Angry towards the song (because it's sh*t or says sh*t) or angry at society because the song is right in its propos?? In the latter case: Working Class Hero
London Calling (and Lost in A Supermarket) Time (Floyd in General) Digging The Dirt (PGabriel) Thick As A Brick Broken English (M Faithful) A lot of Jacques Brel songs. |

The sentiment seems to be, all of must suffer. I believe in progress.

Heard 'I Can't Dance' by Genesis the other day on the radio - and while 'angry' might be too harsh a word, I gave an audible sigh and felt rather depressed that my favourite band could have ever produced something like that in their later incarnation!

I can't think of a song that's made me angry, as such.
Some songs can make me laugh, some can make me cry, others make me feel anxious, irritated, amused, informed, empowered, inspired, curious about the subject of the lyrics, relaxed, disappointed in the artist, etc. Not angry. If I disdain the message, I'll just turn it off. Still, I guess there must be music out there that is conveying a hateful message that's anathema to me, but I wouldn't willingly be exposed to it, or easily encounter it in my normal life. Art is a positive force in my life. I think it's pretty much the best thing humans have come up with--that, the sailboat, the bicycle, fine food, and the fork. No song has ever made me angry for any political or philospophical reason.
The last song that made me angry simply because it was so sh*t was some old rubbish by Ed Sheeran. Don't know what it's called, but he's wittering on about falling in love with an Irish girl who plays a fiddle. Trust me, it's a massive sack of b****cks. |

It's very easy to get cross with a song. I don't understand most of the previous responses. I guess they haven't stumbled over this turd before:
Also remember back when Justin Bieber's Baby came out. I've never wanted to punch a kid in the face before, but man Justin had me doing some evil shadowboxing.

Bad Time by Grand Funk, as it jammed in my 8 track player in my car and broke the tape. Aside from that, not any.

Anyone who's ever heard Coldplay covering 2000 Miles by The Prentenders will know the true meaning of awful.
Coldplay, who mysteriously command an enormous amount of respect in the music industry for making music which to me sounds about as interesting as aircon, took this heart felt classic and butchered it beyond parody and recognition, skilfully stripping it of all feeling. Chris Martin is an abysmal singer, backed up by uninspired mediocre musicians, and that's being positive about it! |

My daughter, being 10, is firmly in her top 40 pop stage, much to my chagrin. A lot of that crap makes me very annoyed but doesn't anger me. Sheeran is pretty damned irritating. Imagine Dragons too

Christmas Shoes
About a dude who has a revelation on Christmas Eve about the true meaning of Christmas because he believes God sent him an impoverished child trying to buy his terminally ill mother shoes that are 'just her style.' It also implies (unintentionally, mind you) that you need to look good to get into heaven since 'mamma needs Jesus tonight.' ...And the shoes will help with that. I guess.
