Fresh Portuguese Prog Metal band (but sings in English). One of the guys of the two-men band is constantly posting his stuff on Prog Snob over Facebook, so I'm surprised it isn't anywhere here.
Their website has really complete info about the band and their debut album, Lacuna, released nov/17. They're also on Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes etc and started selling physical copies as well. Short description for the band from Bandcamp (a longer one can be found here): "We are a Progressive Metal band from Marinha Grande, Portugal. The band was formed in the beginning of 2017 and we started composing and recording our debut album, Lacuna, by February.". Short description for their album from Bandcamp (a longer one can be found here): "This is our first endeavor and we decided that there would be no better to start than to write a concept album. Lacuna is divided into three chapters. Empathy, which has a softer, more nostalgic sound. Apathy, which is the heaviest one, sound wise, and it's filled with raw emotion. Certainty, which carries on it's shoulder the burden of the previous chapters, but still adding new flavors, with a darker sound, filled with despair." Bought the digital album from Bandcamp and I'm not disappointed at all. The production put on the album, for an unsigned debut release, is surprisingly well done. It should definitely be on the database. |

Rather amusing to see one of the most reviled Danish words (especially in recent metoo times) adorn a Portuguese metal band. Kælling = bitch/hag/crone. |

The email method is obsolete. Suggesting in the forum is the way to go |

^not really obsolete, using the direct way via forum may be better, but needs to create an account aso ...
a submission via [email protected] won't return a reply though in most cases Edited by Rivertree - January 11 2018 at 07:20 |

Oh, hi there! After several listens to Lacuna I'm still deciding to rate it 4 or 5 stars, really great album even after almost two months listening to it! Then, when I wanted to review it on Progarchives, couldn't find it. Wanted to help you guys a bit :)
I guess the prog metal team in here can update us on the voting status… |
