In 2008 THOUGHTS FACTORY began as a studio project, led by Sven Schornstein (keyboards) and Marcus Becker (ex-frontman and vocalist). Shortly afterwards Bernd Schönegge joined the project. Some time later two more professional musicians Chris Maldener (drums) and Markus Wittmann (Guitar) joined the group at the end of 2011.

In December 2012 recording sessions began on a concept album, starting at Kohlekeller Studios and simultaneously at Svens Secret Soul Studio. The goal was to mix and master the music by May 2013. An opus of diversified sound range and one of a kind listening experience was created. The object being, to captivate the listener with music lasting as long as one hour. Aggressive sounds, stunning melodies and vocal passages as well as virtuoso solos can be heard by these performers.

A while later germans most famous metal comedian Bülent Ceylan heard the LOST CD from THOUGHTS FACTORY and chose to feature it in the opening and intervals of his extensive HAARD ROCK TOUR shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In March 2014 THOUGHTS FACTORY toured with Subsignal in Germany and Austria for one week. In the summer of 2014 the band played at Bülent Ceylans DVD recording shows in Mannheim castle. Later on the band supported Haken at the Colos Saal Aschaffenburg.

At the end of 2015 Marcus Becker left the band and was replaced by Cornelius Wurth in early 2016. He adds a new dimension with his high vocal range, his sophisticated songwriting and last but not least with his highly advanced guitar playing.
