Thick fairly comfortably
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

SEBTP by a wide margin.
CTTE and TAAB are tied for 2nd.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

Hmm.....CTTE......not a false note on that one for me. (sometimes wtf when I hear some of the lyrics but....)
SEBTP is very good but two tracks on it that I don't get into that much and TAAB is simply not what Tull is all about for me...I get bored about half way through each side.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

I hate voting against Yes AGAIN, but I cannot vote against Selling England by the Pound as I consider it the greatest prog album. I mean Close to the Edge is all time great, obviously, and I think it's more consistent than Selling England.. But there moments on the latter that are just sublime(like during Firth of Fifth for one example).

Tull for me. Not surprised that they're losing though.

Tull, followed by Yes. Half of Septic Easement by the Pond is dreadful.
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Been listening to Close to the edge and Fragile for the first time in a decade lately. They're not that great. Used to like them when I was 20 years old. Just good solid albums now.

To me Fragile still sounds really great, although itīs now over 30 years I heard it first time. Last year I finally bought the original version with that booklet attached it. I think it also sounded better than my earlier eighties reissue. I still have reissue from Close To the Edge, going to buy someday original also from it.

If we are talking about the live versions of the songs on CttE, it would win for me. But we aren't. Yes' studio sound is just too boxy and compressed.

TaaB always felt to me like it had everything wrong with it that everyone complained about being wrong with A Passion Play.

SEBTP is the winner here.
There is no act more pretentious and self-indulgent than labeling another's art as pretentious and self-indulgent.

CTTE hands down. I like SEBTP quite a bit.
Never got into anything Jethro Tull. They're definitely not for me.

TAAB
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

all good Kmart prog bands Thumbs Up  great for those people stuck in a rut and can't advance their progressive horizons... only thing missing here is pink floyd ... that would make it a true Kmart prog poll.
